Blue Grass Stakes

The Blue Grass Stakes field is starting to shape up and for those of you who haven't been to the Keeneland web site.  Check out the taped workouts of Pyro and Cool Coal Man.

Miner's Claim is going to go in the Blue Grass Stakes, he wanted no part of the lead in the Rushaway and should run better off the pace.   

Cool Coal Man seems to be working really well and could fire a big race.  Remember the Fountain of Youth was very humid and 88 degrees.  He may like the cool weather and should sit very tight with a 8 to 9 horse field and get a good run on Pyro and Visionaire.

Still waiting to see if Monba enters the Blue Grass or the Lexington.  Either way the 2 Keeneland preps may have a lot to say in the next 28 days.
